I did not ask to be put here like a crap house rat with no say in whether I even wanted to be created at all. I have read many belief systems with blissful places that sounded cool but I will never be happy in any of those places I read and none of them is better than going back to a non-existence state for eternity to me. Suicide is out the question because that’s malarkey to do such a thing when I can easily live the full term of my life on earth. I simply want to be in a non-existent state for eternity after I die because that’s the state I started off in before creation started. If there is no afterlife then I have a good chance of getting my wish, however, if there is an afterlife then this god fellow might want to keep me around for any apparent number of reasons and that will just be wrong but very entertaining as I try to debate my way to non-existence for eternity…lol. To sum it up, god can take every offer of existence and shove it but not nothingness for eternity.

Who told you God created you?

Check your Birth Certificate. it will show your mom and dad.

God created Jesus in the flesh through miraculous conception, not you.

Your a blessing from God, to your parents. Too bad none of realize this.

You shouldn't. Unless that "god" actually comes to you and tells you to do so...or else. If it wants you to serve it then i'm sure it will make you. Also, why would a "god" need you to serve it? It wouldn't.

I, for one, am with you on the whole "nothingness for eternity" thing. Our consciousness is just a quick flicker in the dark. It flashes brightly in the night, then it's over. That's just the way it is. Like it or not.

I think Mark Twain put it well before either of us was even born....

"Samuel Clemens was once asked whether he feared death. He said that he did not, in view of the fact that he had been dead for billions and billions of years before he was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.".

It's funny how people think you are depressed just because you don't feel like fooling yourself with notions of walking on clouds, and talking with Jesus while playing the harp for all eternity. How BORING! 72 virgins? BORING! Now if you said 72 "pros" then maybe, just maybe....virgins are boring though. So is Jesus. Yeah, I said it. Boring. WHAT!?!

If you were incapable of any thought or sensation, in some kind of comatose state, wouldn't that be the same thing as non-existance for you? But, do you ever wonder if there is something more to you than a stream of thoughts running in a brain? Perhaps you might consider the possibility of having a spirit, an immortal one at that. Careful what you wish for; you might just get it.

You have free will. You can believe what you want and do what you want. Everyone goes through trials and tribulations. The difference between Christan's and non-believer is that the Christan is never alone. God never promised anybody that life would be perfect, but he did say I will never leave you or forsake you. If you choose to ignore God's help, that's on you. But he says that if you will abide in me and my word abides in you, you will have what you will. You have to believe that you will have what you want and you have to serve God and make him first in your life. Your parents brought you here too and if you disrespected them just how much do you suppose they would do for you. And when you follow their rules aren't they more apt to give you what you want. Ask and believe and you shall (not maybe) receive. Faith is what you need. It is the evidence of things not yet seen.

The beauty of having FREEWILL is the essence of being Human and living life to its fullest. Man was provided with the capacity for intelligence and to be able to experience a range of emotions. That, in and of themselves, sets him apart from the rest of the animal kingdom and other living creatures.

In response to your query, YOU are NOT REQUIRED to DO ANYTHING AGAINST your own will or wishes --presuming that you do live in a free society and/or country.

Therefore, you don't need anyone's permission in making ANY of your own decisions ever... Unless you are merely seeking the approval of or confimation from others here. Are you??

Peace be with you!

It is impossible to die and not go any were even if you think you are going to be a ghost. Since that is true you have to choose if you want to rot in H*ll for the rest of eternity or go on to live in peace and harmony with god. If anything I said didn't help try talking to a pastor at one of you local churches.

Most people (including me) believe that you can never go back to that state of nonexistence. You are either sent to Heaven or Hell. You get sent to Hell if you do not serve and believe in God, don't repent before you die, or if you commit suicide. Of course, this is only one point of view. You can believe that you can go back to not existing afterwards, and that is your choice, but in my eyes that isn't a possibility. Why do you not want to go to Heaven anyway? Heaven is not just all sunshine and gold... that's the way most people envision it because that's what most people want. Heaven is whatever you want it to be, whatever will make you most happy because after living your life serving God, you deserve it. Hey, will you please email me? I think it would be interesting to talk to you. My email is midnightmarshmallow@yahoo.com.

You shouldn't! An all good god would definitely know where you are "coming from" and I think it would do as you wish; to not exist once you die.

A below answerer says:

"Most people (including me) believe that you can never go back to that state of nonexistence. You are either sent to Heaven or Hell."

MOST PEOPLE believe in heaven or hell? WHAT? That couldn't be more incorrect, there are billions of people that don't believe in heaven or hell.

Yes, God would understand perfectly.

Of course, lucifer or mara, or whatever you call it, might want you to stick around so that he could keep playing his weird games.

Did you know that Nirvanna means "snuffing out".

Yeah, to exist as an individual is suffering.

No wonder the world is so F*cked up!!
