I once climbed the face of a cliff in the middle of nowhere third world Africa freehand with no ropes or anything. And 75% of the way up I got bit by a deadly scorpion that was somehow perched on one of the ledges, so I had to slowly climb back down in torturous agony as the poison spread throughout my entire body which was becoming more and more paralyzed due to muscle contraction. Once I got to the bottom I had to walk a mile to get to the nearest vehicle and drive 15 more miles to get to the nearest "hospital", which was just a small cement clinic. All they could offer me was tea. I had to wait it out in the worst pain I had ever experienced in my entire life and just hope I didn't die. And on top of that I had to pay them afterward. Is that "extreme"?

I'm a Rock climber and an Ice climber and enjoy diving off of high bridges into mountian streams. I also back back and peak bag and Kayak and Bike half centuries with out much problem. My partner says I should sky dive, but I would never jump out of a perfectly good airplane.
