Its a normal human behaviour to search for the prohibited subjects. They want to explore such prohibited things due to sheer lust. These are not accepted upto a certain age limit by the society as these laws were made to save the energies till all the required parts of the body are fully developed including brain. Young guy have energy and lot of subjects. It is his priority to a particular subject and channalise his energy towards it, then this particular subject becomes his every thing. Be it his studies, career, spirituality, Sex, etc. As sex is the easiest thing to get in to rather than other subjects of his age, it becomes every thing to him.

Depends on the guy.

Sex is everything for some people (both guys and girls). They relate their success in life in part to how many lays they can get.

Others channel their energy elsewhere to find success.

Not every guy walks around with a permanent tent...

some cultures don't advocate pre-marital sex .....so in that case sex would not be the ultimate activity for an 18 yr old guy .........he'd probably be focusing all his attention on sports or something ........ i think this would vary from guy to guy .
