They don't. At least in the younger years of adolescence, many teenagers date simply because they don't want people to think they're awkward because they're not dating. It's more about social status than it is about finding someone you truly want to be with.
Although, it is a time when they realize that they are also a sexual being, but I doubt that most teenagers truly understand that love. This isn't Hollywood.

becuz they can anyone can..like me im a teenager and i felll in love..but you gotta think when you have a bf/gf u need ur space to hang out with family and friends u can talk to her/him on the phone ...you dont really need to see that person everyday

am a tennegers need there own space people that they can hang around wit they dont want there family around and stuff its embarrising like that mostly teens do this a lot to share pesonal feelings wit each other and share secrets and stuff like that

they think theyre in love bc of all the changes goin on with them.they dont think their families will understand so they hang with someone who's their age and have the same issues to deal with day to day
