It all depends on the circumstances. If he broke up with you, then chances are slim. If you broke up with him, and he still cares for you, then chances are most likely in your favor. But if he despises you now, then chances aren't likely.
Its not mathematical, its life. And life just plain sucks sometimes, and other times its wonderful. Everyone goes down both these roads of life. If you think you have a shot, try it out. If not, wait a while, and try again later. That's all I got, because I'm in a very similar situation. But who knows where you'll be, if you never even try?
