I just used an enema and it gave about a 5% result...I'm bloated and uncomftable..been doing everything w/no luck such as water, foods, colon cleansers etc. My stomach looks as if I'm pregnant. Has anyone had this?

you need to go and see your doctor as soon as you can. It appears you may have an intestinal blockage or obstruction. I have seen this many times with patients. They use an enema and only get a small liquid return...with no real passage of formed stool. You really need to have an exam done which may consist of a cat of the abdomen or maybe an obstruction series. Neither exam is painful. You will have to drink a prep in order for them to visualize the intestinal tract and see if any blockage is present. Good luck to you and make an appointment today and if things really get too uncomfortable for you before you are able to see your doc, then by all means go to the ER. This can be serious so please don't put it off. I hope this helps you.

You didn't say how long it has been since you had your last good bowel movement or if you had any problems leading up to this point. You also didn't mention what type of enema you used.
If it was a fleet type enema, they don't work on everyone. But if you have tried colon cleansers and such then I think it is time to get to a doctor and find out what is (or isn't) going on with you.
This isn't something to fool around with for too long, it can become very dangerous.

Yes, and you either didn't keep the enema in long enough or you might need a suppository instead. Just be sure you have plenty of time or you will stress out getting ready before you have to go to work or somewhere else, and it will get rid of the bloat! Also, ask your doctor about zelnorm. It does help! Start eating sweet potatoes. Delicious and best source of fiber out there.

Just happened to me as well.I did 2fleets. It is the 14th of March and I have not gone all month.Last time I went was 3 weeks ago. I can't hardly walk it hurts so bad and have not been able to eat for 4 days.

I thought enema's were for constipation.

I have had it happen to me, and I could hear the liquid sloshing around in me when I moved.
I will never take one again!
It will go away when you take a dump!

I think it's about time to see your doctor. You could have something like Chrone's disease.
