I think these two entities are the root of all evil. Seems like kids are getting more and more unruly, disrespectful, fat and lose all interest in graduating from high school or going to church. The times have definetely changed and what we are putting out there for our kids to see is not helping.

Yes. I think that particular music (if you can call it that) should be banned. Drug's, violence, and language is all it's about. It is sending the wrong message to today's youth.

If you think rap should be band then so should rock, country,r&b and video games even the da&^ intenet. How are you going to blain rap music and videos for kids being to fat, blame the parents for feeding them and not watching what they eat. Rap does not make them not go to school! I rap and i am a college gradute who happens to be an EKG tech and i go to church. So it's O.k for our kids to listen to Brittney Spears talk about sex! or madonna? I think thatsm bogus. YOu say that the times have changed? Back in the day my parents were listining to ride the white horse thats about crack. Every person I know wants to blame their kids downfall on the music they listen to, try looking in the mirror. If you belive rap is the down fall of kids today now wonder your kids trippin, your nuts!!! 4sho!

That is not true. I watch BET and all rap videos and I love going to school. I am 15 and i have 20 transferable units. I plan to go to college and I in no way disrespect others. The music one decides to hear doesn't mean it is evil music.

no longer in basic terms massive Tigger, yet Joe Claire and massive Lez. i attempted gazing Rap city the different day, and it wasn't the comparable. I used to love gazing it lower back in the ninety's. That exchange into one among my links to the East Coast. The video clips performed now suck. Now i'm going to observe MTV Jams (notwithstanding maximum of it that comes out isn't large, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's greater form) and VH1 Soul.

Its not music thats the problem. Its a lot of things that you arent even ever going to understand. Music is not a destuctive thing. What needs to happen is parents need to learn how to be better parents. They need to learn how to structure their children. Music is nothing compared to the real problem. And...Why do you have to single out rap music? you sound racist when you say that-you may be, you may not be, but you sound it.

music is music, i am 41 and i remember the days of the carpenters and hee haw, also elvis, so imagine what my folks must have thougt about him! so times change and so does the music.... it is unfortunate that the music no days has to have so much vulgar language and taking the Lords name in vain though, that i do not tollerate and will not allow in the home, they should be all shoved into a space shuttle and sent to mars with no gas to get them home

when rap came out twentysome years ago i thought it was funny fresh and hot. i have now grown very tired of it over the last couple of years. dont have to watch or listen if you dont like. i dont. you cant stop kids from being crazy. i dont think rap is the problem. i just realized how large your question is. i am not smart enough to anwser. sorry

i personally think if they banned rap. they might as well, banned every genre of music because the kids r going to hear it and do what they want reguardless. its not the music, its the kids' parents and the kid themself. the parents could be like mine. they dont explose alot of things to their kids. another thing, the kid maybe quiet and rebellious and sneek and do it anyway and it will come out much worse....dont hide nothing, be honest with them. dont scare them but be honest. trust me, i dont trust my mum becuase she hid alot from me growing up.
my quote: "if u hide it, they will do it." that will get them to sneek if u hide it from them. educate them ealry....hope they can handle it 1st.

If they ban BLACK ENTERTAIMENT TELEVISON then they need to ban weak *** MTV.And looking at your avatar I dont think you can live without MTV. There are plenty of other things on TV that need to be ban before BET
