Do IT companies mind the past educational background of the interviewee even after doing a course from NIIT?

I'm a graduate in arts.i've done my grad in correspondence from Andhra university due to some problems.now i'm doing a diploma course in information systems management from NIIT.will it be difficult for me to get into a good IT company owing to my arts background?

Hi Teja,

After finishing your NIIT Course, try to get a job through their placement cell. That way it would be easy to get an entry. Do some certifications like MCSE. They help you to get a job in Call Centre/BPO Industry easily.

After getting a job, do MBA in correspondence from institutions like ICFAI. Then you can easily move into good IT Companies

core it wont be easy..... but if you have done well in niit you can expect a good job in ites. your arts background may be a advantage in fields like content development etc..

Let me put it this way.. it won't be easy also. plus, a diploma alone may not help... get certifications along with it. and see if you can be a master in atleast one IT domain (like information systems, J2EE,Oracle... anything). but know it end to end.
