We have the hispanic wellness fair in which over 30,000 people attend in fort worth. We have the hispanic back to school events....etc and the public officials and target/walmart are big supporters. When we have a african american wellness fair its like 1000 people and very little community support. Talk about racist. Its the hispanics in Texas who are racists. They are now the majority. how bout helping others verus just helping your own kind out. how about calling it the back to school childrens event or the people of all color event. Its funny how people who say others are racists are often being racists themselves.

Mexican Americans and more racist than White americans believe me!

I live in Tx.. In Houston.. And get ugly looks all the time..

It's either for 3 reasons..

1) Me being disabled...

2) Them looking at me-- because of my color

or

3) Me being a hot stud...

I always tell myself it's # 3.. Even if guys are lookin at me.. I wave back, maybe wink sometimes.. Make them feel a lil awkward..

It's fun. Usually I say hello too and strike up a convo. And if they don't speak back, I'll say something along the lines of,

"Well.. you were looking at me, I thought you might have been feeling lonely and wanted to talk."

It makes them feel stupid that way...But, anyway...

Yes, we are not racist.. If America was racist, we wouldn't have catered to those people. If we were racist, we wouldn't have a Cinco de' Mayo celebration-- it wouldn't be in the school's...it wouldn't be anywhere around here...

However, take note: if we had a White People's month, we'd be considered racist...

But, these past few years have become rediculous for me-- my situation and what's going on in my city.

So, to be treated so unfairly by this particular nationality, I'd say I have every right to feel the way that I do...

Check this out: the link below is based on 2004.

By the way, the other day, I was walking back to my car, and some @$$hole looked at me weird and spit at me....

What's up with that? I showed him the finger and called him an illegal...

Whether he was or not, he had no business doing that.. They are what is making me believe all hispanics are disrespectful and extremely crude.

At first I didn't understand your question but then I read all of the details and I could not agree with you more. Whites have to be careful of every word they say. God forbid we sound racist but Hispanics say and DO what they damn well please and for some reason, that is socially acceptable. Double standard? I think so. Me personally, I could care less how many times a day they call me racist. I don't care what any illegal criminal thinks about me but you are right, they are more racist than anyone.

The numerical reason could be because of population differences.

Black persons in Texas: 12%
Hispanic persons in Texas: 35%

And you kinda said it yourself: "Its the hispanics in Texas who are racists. They are now the majority." ((Sometimes I wish people did their research.))

I'm also part Mexican and my grandmother (who is Mexican) is super racist.

And stop worrying. At least you're not like me, who looks like an illegal immigrant, who is actually just half Puerto Rican and part Mexican! I get dirty looks from people all the time.

And do you really think that whites are going to join up with a whole bunch of blacks? Get real. Most people will be seperated if someone did a "people of all color event" anyways. Duh. There would be a group of white people, a group of hispanics, and a group of African Americans.

Funny you say that, since you don't seem to want Hispanics anywhere around you, no? If they did have a wellness event at your school and Hispanics also attended, it seems you would leave, since you want nothing to do with them....You make no sense....

The chickens come home to roost.

You cannot expect mistreating a people for centuries and then all of a sudden for them to love you when you express a little regret.

You're reaping what you've sown, and there is no way back.

Maybe you could have a Minority Fair for the true minorities in Texas--blacks, whites, Native Americans?

Maybe you could get funding for this and start it as a not-for-profit?

That's one of the reasons why I don't think they should have special events for certain groups of people, unless it's a group that isn't based on race. If you start giving certain races extra things, you should give all races certain things. ...Unless they're from Mars.
