They don't last because people don't want the relationship enough to work for it.....
I've been in a long distance relationship for a VERY VERY LONG time.....months and months and months!!! We are doing just fine...granted the physical touch is wonderful, and we both miss it a lot more than other times...but we get through it, because in the end it will all be worth it!
If you want the relationship enough, you'll both be able to handle it.. :) My fiance and I talk on the phone EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!! We love to spend our weekends on the phone together. When he had access to the internet he would get online and we'd talk with the webcams.
Most people don't understand how we can deal without the sex...easy...phone sex. I know that sounds sick to some people. But when you're with someone you love, you'll do what you have to "connect" with each other. It also has given me a lot of confidence to say what I want with him and to just have fun with it.
It is work, but well worth it!!!

Well it's not and Big distance! It's only 2 hours...It's ok if someone has a car. But generally speaking long distance relationships never last! You are losing pressious time from your life meeting the perfect someone who's living very close to you. It's very simple for someone to deside what is the best. Just think when you need your boyfriend/girlfriend he/she couldn't be able to be there because he/she's living in a long-long distance...

2 hours is nothing.. my bf is in another country and we r together for a year and rlyin love.. so yes those relattionships work as long as u want them to work.. if u love him you will make it since the distance is not so long.. however if u r just with him for fun and want something different in ur life then no it wont last.. if there is love then u can do everything.. if u rly want to be with him then the distance is not such a problem since u will stregthen ur relationship and realise what one means for the other..
good luck =D

they will only work if you are willing to make them work and baby gurl two hours is not that bad--mine lives 4 hours away and we talk everyday--he calls me to just tell me that he loves me and misses me and thats all that matters to me--if you love them love over comes all obsticles in the way--if you want it to and thats only if your love is strong enough
