Unfortunately, TKD doesn't have realistic, practical kicks which would really be effective in a real streetfight. Maybe in the ring, for points, but not in a real life or death situation. You should *never* be kicking above the waist in a real fight. Never. The most effective kicks are the scoop kick and the oblique kick, but neither are from Tae Kwon Do. Muay Thai also has very brutal thigh kicks which target the sciatic nerve. The nerve runs through the leg and completely up and down the spine. If it's stuck hard enough, it's temporarily paralyzing and will end a fight on the spot.
Using Tae Kwon Do in a streetfight today would be the same as using muskets and cannons in world war 3. There are better and more practical options.

That's funny.I didn't think Tae Kwon Do was dangerous to anyone except those who actually use it for defense. We use to have alot of fun sweeping them while they were jumping around like jumping beans.Never saw a Tae Kwon Do practitioner win in any of the full contact matches that I competed in because knees and elbows were allowed and there isn't a whole lot you can do with your legs when someone is that close especially when you've been kicked so hard so many times in the leg.I really liked it when they'd defend against a leg kick by blocking with their hand. You know what happens next.Hope oldman is saving now to pay the outrageous price for that black belt.

The first one because after that I would step inside their kicking range, throw them off balance and punch. If they can't keep the proper kicking distance then no kick will work.
Want to beat a Tae-Kwon-Do person in tournament? Just step into them! Thats the problem with an art that centers itself around kicking.

They are all equally dangerous (save maybe the simple push kick) if applied to the proper target. I have seen knockouts with a variety of kicks. The kick I worry the most about receiving when I spar is the back spin kick to the head or the back kick to the body. Either one of those can deliver a knock-out blow.

I know nothing about Tae Kwon Do but I'm sure I'll be finding out. My 5 year old grand daughter is in little feet TKD, She's already got her 6th belt and has her 1st tournament fight coming up this month. She's made up her mind she's going to become a black belt. Guess who she has chosen to practice on?

The simple side-kick, anywhere from right above the knee cap to the sloar plexus. It is the most difficult kick to master in TKD and the most deadly.
Jump or spin kicks in street fights...well, you are asking for trouble...never turn you back on an opponent...never. Look them in the eye, and place the well chambered kick right above the kee cap...game over...

any kick designed to hit the trachea or neck. Any kick designed to hit a vital point look at it as you can punch some one in the arm and they say ouch you can punch them in the jaw with teh same force and there knocked out. dpn't look for deadly moves look for move placement and act upon. train to hit that spot and you will. sorry i'm not in TKD but at least a third degree in kung fu can shed some light on the point. hope i helped, or thats what you were looking for any ways.

If you mean dangerous to the person receiving it, it would be.
The "Jump Spinning Back Kick".
This can be argued of course, but this kick can generate an amount
of force that can be fatal to the recipient.
