Y'don't ask that question here; y'go pay the golf pro at your local club to show ya. You should know the only way to improve is to get help from a pro and then practice, baby, practice!

great question. i recently asked my high school coach what we could do to work on our putting as a team... and he showed us 4 drills that really worked... hope these help!
1. get a few balls, and make 25 3-footers, 10 10-footers, and 2 long putts (15-20 ft).
2. get about 20 balls and place them in a straight line, starting at 1 foot from the hole... and then place all the balls in a line 1 foot from each other.
3. get 4 balls and make the hole like a clock. put one ball on 12, 3,6, and 9. make all of these before backing up 2 feet. if you miss, then you have to start back over.
4. this one is more of a game. get 4-5 of your friends that play golf... pick a hole AT LEAST 10 feet away... and putt 1 ball from where you start to the hole. the closest to the hole gets 1 point and if you make it, its worth 3 points. the first one to 21 wins.
hope these all help and happy golfing! :-)

Go get a golf ball and place it on the carpet and roll it using your hands. Repeat this over several times with different strength and direct it at an object like a cup on its side. Repeat this using your putter.........(this will give you the feel of the putt ) .Make all movements robot like .Eye at the ball and when striking the eye is still at where the ball was. Good Luck !

my best advice is to go to a golf courses putting green and practive the long putts for a while. it is on the long putts that you are going to develop your touch. i would mainly focus on the 30 footers for about an hour, and then maybe for 15 or 30 mins work on the 4 or 5 footers. i would do this once a week. hope this helps, good luck

2 tips that will work,
putt with a coin under your ball and read off the coin like maybe the date or "heads 5 cents" before you look up to the ball, this will help you kee your head down.
second, putt to a tee in the green , that way on the green the hole looks like a huge target !

hold another club under your arms above your elbows, next to your chest. Start with it parallel to the ground. Never raise it more than 10 degrees front or back on your swing.
Hit the putt.
That helped me.
Good luck
