True, birth control pills do have that advantage of providing a certain free lifestyle and could be considered a "favorite", but for the most part, pharmaceutical pills are taken for illnesses, disorders, viruses, dibilitating sicknesses. It's not like people are enjoying themselves on pharmaceuticals. Besides, they do cost quite a bit, even if you have insurance, you have to pay the insurance premiums and copayments. If you're on state aid for prescriptions, they don't pay for prescriptions that are addictive, feel-good pills. I think you're just asking strictly from a recreational use of pharmaceutical pills, and that's kinda pathetic.

Modafinil! I've never tried it, but I like the idea. Supposedly it lets you skip sleep without being jittery, no side effects, and not habit forming. If all that is true, think of all the extra time you could have by staying up all night once in a while and not being sleepy afterwards. It's prescribed for narcolepsy, and the military uses it to keep troops going.

My favorite pill that I've actually taken is ibuprofen, for headaches. Works every time.
