There are better ways than advertising for a BF or GF here. Serious relationships take time and tons of effort. I would think you could do well for yourself in your community. You have the options of Yahoo personals if you want to go that direction. There are other sites available out there too.
On a personal note, I'm in my 40's and every relationship I've had has been serious at first and then dropped away to far less so. That I've not lost hope for a good and solid relationship. I'm just willing to take the time to find the right one. The meaning here is you've got to keep at it and not loose heart.
