Domino is just plain old sugar...only name brand. If a recipe is calling for it just use the generic. It's cheaper. Make sure you get the right kind. There is light brown, dark brown, confectioners and granulated. The latter is that wonderfuly sweet stuff kids love to load on top of their cereal! But if you want it (the name brand of Domino) for other reasons you can find it in any grocery store...usually in the baking aisle. Take care and I hope you have an amazing day!

It is a very common brand to find in most American grocery stores. The Domino brand has a couple of kinds of sugar, including confectioner's sugar and granulated sugar.

The plant was damaged during hurricane Katrina. I believe that they are back open now. You should be able to find it soon. You should consider using any brand that is available to you. All plants make sugar the same way and there really is no difference.
