The easiest and best thing to do is get in a routine. Go to bed at the same time each night and probably more importantly get up in the morning at the same time. I may take a week or 2 but once you get in a routine you'll sleep better
Cheers,

I have troubles sleeping. I tend to stay up until like 3am. What I do is get on the computer and answer these yahoo questions, or something like that. But then I have to totally wind down before I go to bed. If I am up and thinking about stuff, it makes it harder to fall asleep. Once in bed, if it's hot in the room, I sleep without socks on and have a fan going for both coolness and noise. I try and make the room as dark as possible. Then I try and empty my head of al thoughts and worries of the day. Usually it takes me about 30 minutes to an hour to go to bed.

I usually lay down, close my eyes, and come up with stories and play them out in my head. You can think up all of the little details like exactly what everyone is wearing or exactly what the characters look like. When I do it usually the story takes a mind of it's own, things that I wouldn't have made happen- happen. It really helps me fall asleep.

meletonin is the answer. It is a natural chemical the brain produces to make you go to sleep. You can get it in pill form in the vitamin section at your local vitamin shop. Stress can cause a decrease in your meletonin level.
