Swallowing chewing gum isn't the healthiest thing you can do, but the whole "it sits in your stomach for blah years" is complete bunk. It will pass through undigested. Some people think the sugar substitutes can cause diahhrea if you swallow gum, though. It's best not to do it, but it's all right if you do.

simply by my line of paintings I take an excellent style of medical calls, and that i can allow you comprehend that females in exertions at the instant are not likely meant to eat something, not even bite gum or have candy because of the fact in case you have any form of anesthesia (epidural or typical anesthesia, or desire an emergency C-section) having something on your abdomen might desire to reason you to have extreme issues, it quite is why they are going to many times put in the IV with the needed food till you certainly grant (and now and returned they don't permit you have something for a pair of hours after, in simple terms in case they might desire to intrude). I remember slightly woman being sent residing house and a doctor cancelling a dental technique because of the fact the little woman mandatory anesthesia in the time of the technique and mom had given her a 0.33 of slightly raisin bread... in spite of the shown fact that, do not circulate by using something all people tells you right here, the appropriate subject to do is ask your ob gyn and anesthesiologist (2 distinctive specialties, make advantageous it quite is pleased with the two to circumvent pointless issues) and see what they permit you comprehend. possibly some will enable it, yet have faith me, you've lots on your plate and don't desire the extra rigidity of not understanding if it quite is large or not the day you circulate into exertions. Congratulations!

Nope. Some have said that swallowing gum is bad because it takes years to digest, but it's not true. It won't digest much, but you'll still, you know, pass it...

Leave the gum stuck to the ground and table – it’s free but not healthy.
