I would tell her that she needs to love her mom but tis okay to feel mad at her but not hate her.
the child is young doesnt undertsand why they are feeling that way.
it could change.
just tell your child to love every one that we all make mistakes no one is perfect.
that the child will learn to love the mom again tell the child to deal with the mom let the mom know what the child feels so the situation can be handled.

Depending on the age I would ask the child why.If mom is hurting this child then you need to step in and tell her it isn't going to happen anymore.Or go to the other parent and let dad know what's going on.
If you care about this child and you feel something is wrong you CANNOT sit back and do nothing.

My nephew hated his dad...and with good reason. Maybe there is a reason why they hate her. Ask some probing questions and see if there is something behind it or if they are just mad. If there is something to it then you should seek some kind of professional help for the child. My kids say they hate me, to my face, but usually follow it up with "Well, you know I love you but I hate you right now."

Find out why they are saying this, if the respones is about being grounden or yelled at or along those lines., tell them that even mom's make mistakes but that no matter what they love them

ask the child first to tell you more about it. the things the child will tell you will provide you with the right words to say.
