I've been with my wife for over 20 years now. I loved her the first five years of our years together. But, boy...something happened to us! Even though we've been together for these many years. There's been trouble and the usual things that brings couples to the verge of divorce. But the thing that has always kept us together is...our kids! You always hear people say that...and it sounds bougus...but it's true. My wife and I live in seperate houses now but visit each other every other day. I care for her but the love part is a little "iffy". We've really grown apart and do not share the same values, probaly never have either! This is just one scenerio of why people stop loving each other. I haven't found any one else to love and am not really looking either. I just sort of exist from day to day and do my own thing. I always wondered what it would have been like if I found someone that I truly was in love with. How things would have been different. Maybe that's how fairy tales are born.

See inside your brain creates automatic type chemical. that stimulates your feelings for that person. But it will only stimulate for 12 to 13 months. Then you see the person for who they really are. When you first get into a relationship. From the beginning both people needs to create romance and stimulating situation. That are not created for sex. But ends up that way. You create the situations because you love the person. Then you keep creating things like that for the rest of your lives. You will never loose the attraction or love. When the final dance is over. You will still love that person and only that person. Because the life you life together could never duplicated.

Sometimes I think when the new wears off and what you thought as love wasn't really. Also people who really love each other in a relationship can hurt each other so much that it tears at the heart of the one who's been hurt and
that love turns to resentment, bitterness, and anger.
