It's a chocolate hazelnut spread... And it's DELICIOUS. I absolutely adore nutella. I would eat it on anything and everything that I could reasonably do so. It's great with fruit and bread especially. Strawberries are WONDERFUL with nutella. I've had it quite a few times, and sometimes eat it plain. It does taste like chocolate and hazelnut. It's a bit less sticky but a bit heavier than peanut butter, and has a smoothe, creamy texture.

Go for it!

Nutella is like a spreadable chocolate hazelnut truffel. It is one of the most delicious foods on the planet. It is very high in fat and sugar, so it could turn a person into a big zit if they eat too much of it. It is, as they say in playschool, a treat, not a good for you food. Although it has some protien because of the hazelnuts. You can spread it on toast instead of peanut butter for a decadent breakfast. It's also very nice if you add banna slices on top. Hm I want to go buy some now but the store are closed %$$#@!!

In addition to being a sandwich spread, it can be used as a flavoring ingredient in baking. Mixing it with whipped cream creates a filling for cakes and pastries. In many European cities like Paris, crêpes filled with Nutella spread and sliced fruit, often either bananas or strawberries, are popular snacks available from food vendors on many street corners. In many parts of Italy where bread festivals take place annually, stands offering different types of bread can be seen with jars of Nutella to spread on the slices offered to people attending the festival.
ngredients
Nutella is the most readily available form of gianduja, which is a blend of chocolate and hazelnut paste developed in Italy after excessive taxes on cocoa beans hindered the early development and production of conventional chocolate.

Nutella is made from hazelnut.

It tastes kind of like peanut butter, but richer. A little chocolatey, maybe. Tough to describe.

It's definitely worth buying - it's a real treat!

It's made from chocolate and hazelnuts, and while I like both of those things, I think Nutella tastes awful. It's not really chocolaty and it's not quite nutty... it just tastes kinda funky and a little bitter.

It's the best!!!! If you are tired of just ol' peanut butter. It's a creamy chocolate hazelnut spread! And you can do soooo much with it put it with toast alone or with jelly, I make mine in one of those grilled cheese sandwich makers to make it hot and crispy! And on Everyday Italian on the food network Giada made dessert nutella raviolis and they looked delicious!
