I know exactly what you're talking about...After I broke up with my ex, I still felt myself being very drawn to him too. I think it's just because we are drawn to the familiarity of this person, and/or wanting again what you once had.

He's not intriguing... you're just wrapped up in your own head "what if he'd changed" "What if it'd worked out" He's so entertaining" If he's your ex then at one time you really dug him... then it didnt work out... in the back of your head you are making him more appealing than he was so that you can explore all the "what if" factors. Guys aren't intriguing... at best we are interesting, maybe entertaining... but there really is no mystery... sure we may act strange or seem like there is this complicated series of thoughts running through our heads, but in reality its the kaliopee loop from the circus...
Just push him out of your head or talk with someone he is dating now/next... they'll remind you just how bland he really was...
...man that was harsh...

It's very simple.....we always want what we can't have. Don't play the "what if" game and live in the present...not the past. I know that's easy to say and hard to do but trust me...you'll be a lot happier. It took me many years to get over my ex. I still think of him from time to time. Don't beat yourself up for that though. He was part of your life and is one of the many reasons you became the amazing, beautiful, loving woman you are today! Take care!

Maybe you feel a bit possessive? Even though you no longer like him, perhaps, you've staked a claim and don't want him with someone else? Or, you were used to having access to him anytime and now you can't?

Maybe its because you had something with him. I am divorced and my ex-wife seems to be more drawn to me right now.

you are weak, get ahold of yourself, he is not your ex for nothing, Do you wonder if he thinks of you? Is he the one who broke up with you? I hope you are not that weak, if so MOVE ON
