Why do some people think most Mexicans are scumy people and criminal?

That can be said about any nationality..right? Why call people stupid and tell them to mind their own business. We're all in here together aren't we?

If they are here illegally then they ARE breaking the LAW and if that dog is not being cared for then they they are breaking the Law.

FYI: Mexicans don't cook or eat rats in their tacos. Let's see you all eat at Taco Bell now, jerks!

People these days seem to love to jump to conclusions. We hear about the Haditha killings in Iraq, then several Marines are faced with murder charges, and now many look down on the USMC and because of a rotten few, have condemned all.

Today's society, regardless of nationality, needs to take a step backwards and stop judging so damn much. If you want to make a judgement, make an educated one. If you feel illegal immigration is becoming a major problem where you live, research and find out as much as you can about maybe why this is happening, or what you can maybe do to help the situation. I am so sick of people sitting around complaining about what's going on, but doing nothing. By the way, I feel this way about BOTH the illegals who are not trying to gain citizenship/learn English yet receive legal citizen benefits, AND those who are anti- illegal immigrants who are upset that these people are washing the plates you eat off at restaurants and supposedly taking away jobs from Americans who don't want them anyway.

How did society become this way? This is just sad.

I agree, I went to Mexico to study abroad and found a much different Mexico and a much different populus than I was led to believe existed in Mexico.

It is hard to understand or defend steriotypical racism but here is my best guess:

Mexicans, many would argue, are or were considered to be, "flawed" by some. This, by my experience is due to people hearing racist comments in life and in the media. Until one actually meets a black or Mexican, this is the only thing these ignorant people use to base their opinions on. I feel that if every person met a Mexican and interacted beyond saying a few words these steriotypes and opinions would change in a heartbeat.

However had I not gone to mexico I would not have needed to meet mexicans to know this, i wish this philosophy of meeting a person of the race was not a prereq to overcoming steriotypes. I have never been to Portugal, and I dont need to go to understand taht Portugese aren't inferior to me, but i suppose some people do need to experience something before they can understand it.

USA prisons are being populated with mostly Mexican or south of the border men, and a lot of crime is being committed by others who have not been caught yet.

Yes, we are all in here together, but literally it is every race for themself and no one really wants to connect themself to an inefficient group of people.
One bad egg can spoil the whole bunch, but, we need men like MLK and Che to rise up for you and us so that we can eliminate the bad eggs.

And I don't eat at Taco Bell but after the meat is cooked you can't tell what it is.

Mexican gangs have destroyed Los Angles. Mexican workers have driven down the cost of labor by working for cheap dollars. Mexican workers do not pay taxes because they all claim 10 dependents and send their dollars back to Mexico. Illegal Mexicans have caused are hospitals to close their emergency rooms because they use them for free medical care, and these are just a few reasons why Los Angles is looking more like Tijuana every day.

Because of the way that they behave. It's not just one or two of them that were marching in American streets on May day waving an ugly buzzard rag around. It was many! It wasn't just one of two of them that were flipping off Americans, it was many! Finally, how many millions of illegal Mexicans are claiming to be someone else just so they can work here? They have no respect for this country, the laws and us as a people. All of these CRIMINALS speak for their entire race. I'm sure there are some good ones but don't act like many of them are not criminals because they are!

True! I am married to one and he is the best man i have ever met. He treats me and my children with so much respect and i love him to pieces. He is a very hard worker and a provider for our family. He is so much a man he even helps me with the house chores.

It doesnt matter what race or nationallity you come from some people are just ignorant. God created us all equal and we are all different and some people just like to sterio type.

As for taco bell it is not Authentic mexican food. It is American type of mexican food.

Americans have the Boy Scouts of America, Mexicans have MS 13. Americans go to college, Mexicans go to prison. American women have small families, Mexican women have big litters.

American men work in professional occupations, Mexican men work in ditches. Americans mostly BUY health care and education. Mexicans steal them!

I don't think that. However, I live in Canada and we don't have issues about mexican illegal immigration as the US does.
Most mexicans I know are very smart, especially politically aware of what's going on in the world, they are hardworking and friendly. I went to Mexico and I've been all over the world, and Mexicans are the friendliest warmest people on earth.

Some are criminals. Like gangs. Shooting random black people. Theyre always hating on another race...even salvadorians. hahaha jesus theyre like neighboors. hahaha. And like driving a car with no registration/insurance. FORE EXAMPLE!!!

Yeah it's not just the mexicans that are crimminals. black, whites and asians too. But most of us are born here! or been here most of our lives and know our surroundings but still get in trouble. it's more acceptable to society you know.
