First, I try to remember all of the stupid things I've done. Then, I try to forgive the person, but not the act. Just because you forgive someone does not mean that you must stick around for another stupid action.

I guess it would depend on what they had done. Forgiveness is hard. I've found the best way is to just tell them the truth. Tell them look I love you, I don't approve, or like what you did, but I forgive you for doing it. But of course you have to get to a place in your heart where you are ready to forgive them. Good Luck

If it was really something stupid then it should be easy to forgive them for it. People do stupid things all the time!

Honey you have to learn to let go. U gotta forgive them no matter what they have done...because the longer you hold a grudge.. the more it will hurt you. U may never be able to forget the stupid thing they did....but at least forgive them so u can at least see some happiness.

Sometimes forgiving is a difficult thing to do...forgetting is more possible.
If your future acts are good ones, done with good intent and prove to help someone forget the stupid thing done or said...you are better off with hoping they'll forget.

How stupid something was doesnt matter, what matters is how important is the person to you....How much love you have for him/her. Every human being does so many stupid things in his/her life. We need to forgive them to live happily and to show the love and care.

Do you really think it was stupid? If it was, then it is more easier for you to forgive! The person was not intelligent enough to do something right. If he / she was intelligent, you would not have known it and it would have been bad for you and you would not have even thought about it!

Stupid acts don't require much forgiving. Evil ones, on the other hand, do.
