Is it because American people have a poorest vocabulary than Brittish one have ?

No, it is because WRITTEN American English is easier to understand than British or Australian English.

Whereas, SPOKEN American English is difficult to understand when compared to British English.

British and American English dialects have many differences. If you are accustomed to American media (books, movies, etc.) then British English will be more difficult, and vice versa. Given all the morons on the web who can't spell or construct proper sentences in either dialect, I suggest reading a published work to better understand English.

No, it is probably because you are reading more American English than British English (aka Queen's English).

I think your more accustomed to american english, because you can see many american movies in france, and not so many british movies. so you understand american words better than english words when they're not the same.
