Girls deem guys "just a friend" when they aren't attracted to them. "Just a friend" guys are like one of the girls, a safety zone, and a guy they can trust with their most bizarre secrets. Guys they want to date, are typically "bad boys" and attractive. I'm sorry, but from what I've seen, it doesn't take much more than that. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder...but tell that to the goofy looking guy hanging around ten beautiful women and not getting it on with a single one of them. I have a friend like this. He's not ugly, but he's not attractive. He's funny, smart, sincere, has a huge heart, but hasn't landed a girl in the ten years that I've known him. I've even tried to set him up myself. It just doesn't work. He wants to play counselor, listen to their drama, be their best friend and then he's taken himself out of the running and he doesn't realize why. Girl's don't want a guy on the same emotional level with them....No matter how much we claim we do....we don't!

Depends on the woman involved usually but I think it is because sometimes what a woman wants she doesn't always need, and what she needs isn't always what she wants.

i realy dont know i guess it's just how long u known the girl if u know her to long she will just be friends but if u just meet then they will date u i thinks it's crazy but hey....
