so, how many people will go to Heaven?

hmm.... in today's world (not including people in Biblical times):

(1) one-third of the entire world is devoted to Christianity, so the number of seats available in Heaven drops substantially.

(2) the majority of the 2.1 billion Christians don't practice the Bible as we should. God commands us to rightly divide His Word (2 Timothy 2:15). the number shrinks further.

(3) once again, even further because God says "Enter into the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

So, how many people will make it to Heaven? Simple, not many people will actually find Jesus, so not many in Heaven. It's a shame how these statistics work out, but people choose that path. God or Satan didn't twist their arm, they self-inflict their punishments.

It's probably impossible to predict the amount of people since it also has to include people who already died and went to heaven. As well as people that are repenting of their sins and accepting Jesus, so in short, who knows, hopefully a lot..

According to the Bible it will be a "little flock" who are bought from the earth to rule as kings and priests over the great crowd of mankind residing on the earth forever.

Revelation 7:4; 14:1,3 - says the amount "bought from the earth" will be 144,000, a finite number.

Revelation 5:9,10 - shows that those ones will co-rule alongside Jesus Christ as kings and priests. (Psalm 72:7,8)

Revelation 7:9 - shows there will be an undetermined number who remain on the earth, coming "out of the great tribulation". (Revelation 7:14)

Psalm 37:9-11,29 and Proverbs 2:21,22 - show that righteous and faithful mankind will live on the earth forever under willing submission to God's Kingdom government. (Matthew 6:10)

So, you are correct, there will be very few who actually make it to heaven.

There is no certain number in the Bible on how many people will be in Heaven. Everybody who has been saved by the Grace of God, will be there.Praise God, I know i will be there.

None, there will be none. All of you have it wrong anyway. So keep telling each other that it will be you who goes to heaven, and have your wars in gods name to prove your right. And if there is a god (there isn't by the way) you will go to hell and you can all pray for salvation together.

Everyone that is worthy to be in Heaven will be there. There isn't a limited number of seats of anything like that.

I think god would have been able to spell "straight gate" so I have to assume you're making all this up. This is a great example of Schadenfreude -- "I'm going to heaven and you're not . . . neener neener neeeener."

depends on what you believe heaven is, Heaven for those that follow the Nordic Gods is Valhalla, and that place is my idea of heaven, feasting, wenching and having just plain good fun.

then there are those who belief its just the next in evolution where you begin your journey to Nivanna

I don't know but John wrote in Revelation that he saw so many (in heaven) that no man could number (count).. that's quiet a few!

Heaven sounds pretty crowded, and not a very diverse crowd in terms of religion it seems.
