I started working at this place, a few months ago. There's this guy that I really like. It seemed like we liked each other, him teasing me all the time and all. Even our coworkers saw that something was going on between us, but he never asked me out or anything. I've recently learnt that Life is very short, and I dont want to miss out, and ask myself a few years later why I didnt make a move. So I asked him to the movies, and he seemed really happy, he said he'd love to go to the movies with me.He then gave me his cell phone number, asking me to text him, and we can talk more. Well, I've texted him, twice, no reply.Today I went to work, and asked him if he received my messages, he said not yet, but that it was maybe because we didnt get reception in the offices. So he told me that he would pick me up on friday, and said that he was looking forward to me texting him, and now, it turns out it's a fake number, not really fake but it's not his number. I feel really hurt. What should i do?

You know the worst? I'm falling in love with him. Bad! He's always so nice, and he seemed so happy and excited when I asked him. And today when I was leaving work, he was telling me how he was looking forward to it, and how much he'll love going with me. He asked me what time I wanted him to pick me up. I mean, was that all a joke? if it is, I think it's very cruel of him. I'm seeing him at work tomorrow, and dont know whether to ask him what happened with the number or not. I feel terrible. I've been through a break up in January, from a 3 years relationship, and I was just trying to start over. Is it me?

Gee, I'd ask him what the heck was going on. If he can't explain don't waste any more time on trying to date him. Just keep it a friendly work relationship. Maybe that's what he wants anyway or he might have a girlfriend and hasn't come up with a plan to keep you a secret.

Oh well...
The best way to go is always open communication, especially in the beginning.
I'm sure you've heard it tons of times, but it never hurts to hear it again.
Get your facts straight and go from there.
I hope everything works out for you.
I also hope my advice helped and I apologize if it didn't.
Take care!

Lick your wound and move on. It is his sign of saying "babe, i am not interested in you that way"

It is amazing to like someone but you can't make someone like you

The funny thing is that he might later on want to be with you but then you might not even like him that much (Seize the chance *if you know what i mean*)

try it one more time, life is short, so go talk to him and look into his eyes and tell him if you and him are really going to the movies or was he just playing around.

jst leave him he probably thinks it's funny that he's leading you on your taking the bait and he can have a laugh with his mates about it. tell him if he's interested he'll have to make a move himself

im sorry but judging by what you wrote, he is not really into you. firstly if he really liked you he wouldve asked for your number and called you. he is only coming up with excuses cos it easier then saying he is not interested in you. please dont waste anymore time on him
