If "you pray without ceasing" you don't end it.

Seriously, I always do when I'm leading a prayer, but I don't always when it's a personal prayer. I do personal prayers a lot. They are private. I figure God knows when I'm praying and why I'm praying and when I've stopped praying. So the "Amen" really is unnecessary in a private and personal prayer.

I don't. It's not a Baha'i custom to end prayers in "Amen." We simply say the prayer and that's it. I've never seen it as a scriptural command, it's just a custom. God already knows when we finish a prayer, even before we start it.

Amen is so be it, or let it be so. A good way to end a prayer.

No. Many times I just say "Thank you God" or "Thank you Lord" or "please" I usually say "amen" when I say common prayers like grace at meals or the Our Father. When I just am talking to God I usually don't say Amen.

That's the usual practice. It signifies that all are accepting your prayer, even you.
