A genius man has come up with a way to solve the immigration problem....First, All the illegal immigrants should be seized. Then we can put them into a temporary non-paid working system to help businesses. Simmilar to slave labor, but not as cruel and only temporary. After they complete their work we just deport them. This way we can reap all the benefits of Mexican labor as well scare away future boarder hoppers. It sure beats putting them in jail or just simply deporting them. What do you think???

Humanitarians would have a field day with that... While I don't totally disagree with the idea, because hey we use a similar type of program with prisons, and illegal aliens are in fact criminals, but we need no more bad press than we already have. We need to just start enforcing strict fines and/or jail time on employers employing illegal aliens, and I promise, with no work, they will not stay.

"Similar to slave labor, but not a cruel". No way for that statement to be true. No matter how "less cruel", being a slave is being a slave. Kind of similar to being in a "nice" prison. I don't care how nice it is, if you can't leave (no freedom) it's horrible. Irregardless of the moral, ethical, and legal dilemma, even if looking at your solution objectively, the cost to run such an operation would be counter-productive. The labor vs the supervision costs would make the labor very expensive.

i agree that immigrants should not enter the country illegally, but i think it's unrealistic to try and deport the ones that are already here. come on are you gonna volunteer to hunt them all down? who's gonna end up paying to send them back? we are taxes are going to be raised and in the end we pay for everything.
if people wanna come over here they should go through the proper channels and do it right.then they can demand to be treated as equals.

i'm not racist,i am of mexican descent, but my parents are both legal citizens.they took the time to do everything they had to do to have the right to be here.

First of all, i don't think this is right at all....it's putting people up for "slavery" once again, maybe not to the same degree, but slavery is still slavery. They will still consume our foods, they will still be here, our efforts right now should be good enought until a better idea is thought of, the above however is not the "american way" IMO.

Are you kidding me???

I will ask God to forgive you for your disturbing thoughts. Hopefully one day soon you will realize the error of your ways. God created everyone equal, and did not make you or anyone else a greater being to judge and punish in a cruel vindictive way.

It sounds like fun, but we have to remember we are Americans. Americans do not treat our enemy like that. Deporting them and securing our border is good enough.

Bush decided to open up our borders. Read this article from Neo-Cons who are pissed that people will be able to walk freely over our borders by 2010.

don't need them touching businesses. Building the fence themselves sounds more patriotic.
