do anybody know what the this thing is called. all i know when i had it ,it taste good. its cornbread and creamy corn together. its all into one. its like u smash it .can someone tell me the receipe if they know how to cook it and what do people call it..im dying to cook it. thanks

It sounds like corn pudding.

Ingredients:
1 can (16 oz) whole kernel corn
1 can (16 oz) creamed corn
1 package (8 1/2 oz) corn muffin mix
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 whole eggs

Mix all the ingredients together until blended. Spoon into a 13 x 9-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown. Serve with butter.

Variation: Add 1 cup each chopped red pepper and green onions to the batter before putting it into the baking dish.

It sounds like you may be talking about Mexican Cornbread
If so you use the cream style corn for the liquid, I add a T of Jalipenas(spelling)
you bake normal until it passes the toothpick test(pulls out clean) or is slightly brown around the edges and has pulled away from the pan slightly

mom2savi recipe is the one I use. Except that my recipe also includes a tablespoon of sugar. It is so delicious, almost like dessert. We call it Spoon Cornbread.
