EMO seems to be a common term and I don't know why it is used. Sounds like some sort of name calling? Just curious.

I kinda feel it is a kind of name calling. A wail back I asked what an EMO was and everyone answered some one that crys, cuts them selves and things like that. I feel they r just another person like u or me. They may be a lil different, but why profile them. I know a few people that r EMO, but never knew until I asked that question, but they seem like ok people to me. Maybe a bit troubled, but who isnt. I just call them people. Cause that is what they r.

EMO or Emo? Cause if it is EMO and its some computer term, I have no clue.

But emo is a type of fashion and genre of music. It stands for emotional. Basicall, it's all those boys who want to wear tight pants, have girly hair, and be sad but not be depressed.

Get it? Me neither.

It's apparently some type of kids out there. I guess being goth isn't cool anymore, and there are too many of them, so these kids have invented the EMO group. I think they cry a lot and listen to sad music or some nonsense. (rolling eyes) Why can't kids just be kids? That's what *I* want to know.

emo is a style of music. its where guys sing higher than most girls. the people that listen to it hate getting called emo. i dont quite understand why they're ashamed of it... im damned proud to be a punk. the general emo child wears nothing larger than a youth medium, has black hair covering one eye, some wear makeup, and acts depressed no matter how good their life is going. emo is one of the funniest insults i know of.
