You never hear about this happening in Belgium or Spain or Portugal, but it seems like every time there is a heat wave the poor French drop like prices at Walmart. There are hotter places in the world. Is it because they are too cheap to buy air conditioners for old people? Look honey, another 35 miners died in China and 42 French dudes died from the heat wave. Is there a factor I’m not aware of? I hope someone from France can answer this.

People dont have air conditioners.
Air conditioners are very expensive in many parts of Europe.
A home 6000 btu air conditioner can cost well over 1000 euros (about $1200 US)

Maybe they are unprepared. In hot places, people go real slow and jobs take a long time.
In mexico they sleep during the hot parts of the day.
Maybe they don't slow down?

I don't think it's the heat that's droppin' 'em. I think its the smell of other French people in the heat. They aren't known for their propensity towards Ban.

Seriously though, I think that it's the wine. They drink it with every meal. I think I caught her dad pouring it on his cheerios.
