well the only thing i guess I've ever been on that even remotely describes a date would probably be when my bf in high school first got his car he was going to take me to dinner and all. well he had to wait for his mom to get in from work first because we couldn't leave his little sister and little brother alone. We waited and waited for her to get there and then she called and said that she wouldn't be home until well after i had to be home. so We ended up taking his siblings to the local subway where one of his friends worked so that my bf could afford to feed all of us. So the only date i ever went on we had to take along his siblings not much of a date. I never really went on any thing closely resembling a date since. and i have been married for 6 years.

I made a bad date once. I was working 2 jobs and going to school when one day, on my job as a waitress a cute guy asked me out to poetry reading at the art museum.
Well this chick starts yelling and screaming about how God is a woman etc, etc, and before I knew it he had to nudge me awake because it was over.

Needless to say he took me straight home and never asked me out again.

When I was 26, I was single, had an excellent job, my own house, and a nice car, but no girlfriend. My brother fixed me up with a nice looking girl for an evening out. She turned out to be a gold digger. All night long it was "buy me this", and "take me there", and ... I tried to be as cooperative as I could without being taken advantage of. At the end of the evening, she wouldn't even kiss me good night. As she went inside, she said, "I had a nice time." I immediately replied, "At least one of us did."

yes, i once went out on a date with this guy i knew from work and we had work together for quite sometime and he would not take no for an answer.
