I'm attempting to gather info. for a paper I'm writing regarding the success of housing juv. so's together. Prior to 1996 they were in general institutions. Now they are all together and institutional sex is off the chains!

Solitary confinement would probably be better (for everyone). I must say this is the first time I sort of agree with MeandB.....recidivism is so high among paroled sex offenders that it would be more cost effective to terminate repeat offenders rather than incarcerate. Juvenile sex offenders? I don't know....how young? long term solitary incarceration and massive psych-therapy could save some. I have more sympathy for a murderer than a sex offender, and my tax dollars could be better spent.

it relies upon. intercourse Crime is a especially wide subject. If 2 little ones an identical age had consentual intercourse (have been as no coercion occured) then they maximum probably are not a registered intercourse criminal. Now if it became an act of rape etc.. and the criminal became tried and convicted and forced to affix themselves on the Registry thats a diverse tale The regulation against offenders being close to little ones, is for people who've been convicted of a sexual act against a baby.

If they do that for the same reasons as adults it is to protect them against the other inmates, but I say if a person, juvenile or adult, rapes someone, they need to be in general population

But maybe it's better they are housed together than with the non-sex offenders. Do we need more abused kids?

i think they should be housed with much bigger people who will rape their bootys so they can see how they made others feel doing what they did.
