'Amoxi' is a trade name for a penicillin derivative called Amoxicillin. (an antibiotic)
Make sure your cat finishes all of this prescription. If he stops to soon the bacteria could become resistant to this drug.
People who stop antibiotics without finishing the full course are part of the reason that some antibiotics don't work well anymore!!

Amoxicillin Tablets "made by Pfizer Inc.
They are semi-synthetic penicillin with a broad spectrum of antibiotic activity for use in cats.
Provides bactericidal activity against a wide range of common gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens.
It is usually administered for 5 to 7 days, or 48 hours after all symptoms have subsided.
Take the tablet and put it in a treat the kitten really likes. then put a little of the treat in front of him and when he gobbles, drop the treat with the pill right in front of him and watch pill and all disappear.

It is light weight penicillin. If you find the tablet tomorrow then crush it and put if over some food the kitten likes lots,, if not I suspect kitty will be fine anyway. Crushing over a little bit of their favorite food is the best way to get the meds down. Of course remember not to put out other food or they might choose not to eat the medicated one.

I assume its an antibiotic and should be given as directed and should take them until all is used.if you crush it in his food it will make it bitter, and it for sure will not eat the food.I know this may sound bad,but you may have to force it down.I am an owner of 2 cats 1 puppy 2 rabbits and a parakeet, another words I would not tell you to do anything that I consider cruel or harmful!

Amoxi is a med for infections or viral problems. It works like penicillin. I think your cat will probably be ok. But you did not say, how many pills he had taken. Good Luck with your cat.

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic given to prevent post-operative infections. Duration of treatments are typically general guidelines and changes between vets. So the last dose although maybe ideal, sometimes isn't definitively necessary. Minus one dose shouldn't give you problems

One quick note from a person who knows cats well. It is very, very rare a cat will take any medication mixed into even the best tasting food. Give medication orally is the only guarantee. Trust me, I have worked for a vet for 7 years and know the truth with cats and taking med's
