Your knowledge about reincarnation is totally wrong. We just can't choose what would we like to be in the next birth by ourselves coz this is determined by your present deeds in this life. What you sow today, you will reap in the next life.There is no gaurantee that every one us would get reincarnation right away like that, if you are a big sinner it will take years for you to get next birth coz you'll be in Hell and that becomes the reward of your Karma. That is to say, only ones who have shown some unique spiritual merits in this life will be the ones to get this privelege of reincarnation e.g. Buddhist Learned monks. This is, however, as I said earlier, governed by the deeds or "Karma" as per the Buddhism. You may wanna read some spiritual books on Buddhism, that will definitely open your eyes on such topics. I actually do, but only as humans. I believe in past lives, but not in reincarnation into animals. So I would like to stay pretty much how I am. A liberal through and through with a great family who supports me and enough money to get by comfortably.

I believe in rebirth not reincarnation. It's a fine distinct in that we always come back as humans.
