Wasn't that I ate it..but I remember walking in the house and Mom was frying, what she called a Whimpy Burger with fried onions and toasted bun. Once in a while I will get a whiff of that and I know she is present. She has been gone 4+ years. I miss her DAILY!

So many things that my Grandparents and Mother cooked for me - too many to mention.
I will say I cook every day at our home and several times a week get the kids involved.
It is necessary to keep tradition and recipes - it's wonderful for holidays, every day and thinking when the kids could be home sick.
Wish you could post that great apple pie recipe!

I used to love boxed Mac & Chz and Chef Boyardee Mini Raviloi and Beefaroni. But I dont' crave it now! Can't imagine how I ever liked that stuff now that I've had the real McCoy!
I do get cravings for "School cafeteria food" like their yeast rolls, spaghetti, and Beef Stew.

Chicken and Dumplings! I know how to make them now, so my grand kids will feel the same when I am gone. Of course, they will talk about my pie crust and only laugh! (I invented the Frisbee!)
