Has anybody heard of French Lick? (no, not that) it's a town and someone famous is from there. any answers?

Indianapolis-ish. Larry Bird was born in West Baden but grew up in French Lick-- it is a very nice place to visit. I can't wait for the hotel to reopen. The spa is fantastic!

I live in Lafayette. I moved here 14 years ago to attend graduate school at Purdue (just on the other side of the Wabash River). After leaving grad school, I liked the area well enough to not want to move, so here I am today.
