ok, here is the thing, im christian too, so no offense, but some of you are extremely harsh. There is no need to bash other religions based on our faith, everyone has the right to their own beliefs, and a bunch of christians screaming leprosy, floods, and hellfire isn't going to make them convert. I am ashamed of some of the posts i've seen on here, it is sometimes enough to make you wonder what christianty has come to. Yes, God has destroy people who were evil ,but God did it, it is not your job, your job is to love, and cherish your fellow man. Live a good, christian life, and lets not force it onto others. God is the one to decide all things, not man. So if someone has an opinion, let it be, and do not attack it, argue respectively, and at least attempt to keep an open mind. THink of it, if you were raised christian, you don't know much else now do you? So what of the people who were raised wiccan? jewish? atheistic? They can convert if they so choose, and if not, it is their choice

fyi, sorry to stick it to christians, i was not raised in another faith so i figured if my main ideals are in the root of christianity, it should be focused towards christians. But in a general sense, people are people. Love one another

amen. we are to love one another, regardless of who they are or what they choose. it is our job to be accepting and open, that is what Christianity is supposed to be. i agree, i get a little embarassed by peope's hatred and anger who call themselves Christian or spiritual. We just need to pray that the Lord would open their hearts and that they would be filled more with him than with judgement and hatred.

It's not about conversion most of the time. It's about setting the record straight or defending rights.

Some people say we should be banned. Well, in reality it's Edna that get's banned and the next on the list with be Mr. T if he keeps it up and he's NOT on this forum so far.

If Christians attack Atheists or Muslims, those people have a right to defend themselves. If Atheists say get out of here, we have a right to stand our ground. It's that simple.

And there are the undecided. Those who are not religious and see a person, atheist or agnostic or just hostile or geek, attacking with Science tend to beleive the science before giving religious people any credibility. Hence we must point out the flaws in science and there are many. Hard science gets changed all the time as we now have "realtivistic" universes and "normal" universes. The rules change. What applies in a normal Newtonian universe doesn't apply in a Planck, Einstein or other "relativistic" universe and few people understand Relativity! So, how can science be an answer when for 200 years Matter can't be created nor destoryed and NOW it can, because of Anti-particles. Wow, science has ALL the answers for a few decades! Then it changes.

Now the undecided have to view science with a grain of salt!

Religion has just as much right to be here as anyone else. If science don't like the fact that they change there own rules over 100 or 200 years, that's too bad!

The Judeo-Christian bible hasn't changed in 2,000 years and the Jewis portion is close to 6,000 years and it describes the BIG BANG perfectly!

Not bad for a 6,000 year old book.

Now, how does the undecided deal with that! Science proposes it in the 20th century and Religion proposed it 6,000 years ago!

You're not always going to convert people with God Bless You!

That's a nice cliche, over used like God Created Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

And it gets a lot of laughs.

But tell people Religion wrote about the Big Bang 6,000 years before science and now you may have people's interest.

Then the God Bless you people can take over.

Amen!

I also want to reiterate a point one of your responders made - that perhaps some Christians are afraid that they are "responsible" for saving someone, or they will not be saved themselves. The point is that WE do not save anyone - Jesus Christ is the only one who saves. We, if cooperate with God's will, can sometimes be the tool or the instrument of someone hearing God's call. But, believe me, even if it's not us being used as an instrument, God will find a way to reach that person if they are willing to be reached. As someone said, God can raise up children to Abraham from the very stones if He wants to.

So, yes, we should proclaim the Truth that we know - but we should not do it with intimidation or fear or any of the other things you mentioned. As someone said, what has love to do with fear?

The best we can do is try to be an example of what "Christ in us" means, and by that hope and pray that we and others will be saved - without bullying them into it. As someone else said, who are we to judge the servant of another? Let's just make sure that we are good servants of our own Master!

YOUR talking needs to be with God, Pal. Not Christians.

If you can't handle God's Word. Leave. or get use to it.

YOU are going to be reading a lot about it. Trust me.:)
BIBLE: KJV according to sourses:
What does God call them? Preach love to them? Lets see what God says, to do with them.

You have unbeliever's, Chaff, Scoffers.

An Atheist is a "scoffer". The WORD of God, clearly tells, ATHEISTS are filhty rags they are, and to stay away from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us, "You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according to God Himself.
Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Pslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Pslams 1:
godly wisdom here, declare the final outcome of the two "ways". The paths of "sinners" (unbelievers) and the "way of the righteous. he speaks progressively of assoociation with the ungodly and participation in they're ungodly ways.

God said it. End of Story. Jesus Himself said "Let the dead bury they're dead".

Use all the Internet and Dictionaries they want to and call themselves anything they wish. God "defined" what they are by His own Holy Word.

They can hang a dog tag* around they're neck in the pits if hell itself and separate each other by name categorically.

God's Word said it. By God's definition. They are nothing but filthy rags. There is NO opinion.

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your scriptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

I W I L L . P R A Y . F O R . A L L . A T H E I S T S. :)

Your going to hell for saying that! - Just kidding!
I think I understand what you're saying. assuming I understand correctly - I agree.

We cant force anybody to accept Christ - but we do need to share the gospel and the reason why people need to be saved. Hell is a very good reason to be saved for if there is no danger, there is no need for salvation. We just need to be more constructive in addressing the matter rather than verbally beating to death every person who may or may not be a prime candidate for hell.

By being overbearing, we can drive people away from the love of Christ rather than to it.

Thank you for being sensible.

I think many Christians are scared that they are responsible for saving someone from hell. But if they truly believe what Jesus did, they would see that he fulfilled the law of belief as well. We are truly free to choose and be who we wish. We are all one whether we like it or not. The new covenant was made between God and Jesus and their is nothing we can do to change it.

You're a sensible feller, but you know, it's well-intentioned people like you that keep religion "sacred" to the point that fanatics and fundies dare not be criticized. (except, of course, in the anonymous world of the internet). And p.s., I was raised Christian, I became an atheist of my own choice.

Well Spoken! I'm a Christian, too, and I couldn't agree with you more. God wants people to CHOOSE him, not be forced into it with fear and hate. No true love for God. That will only lead to corruption within the religion.

i am a christian too, but i think alot of people take a christian givnig advice as a christian trying to push christianity on them when all it is, is that christians are just trying to help, and people are making mountains out of mole hills, why don't you ask the question why muslims and hindus are brutally indoctranating their pople into their beliefs, and one more thing, it is our job as christians to spread the message of Jesus Christ to all that we can, now remember i'm not perfect, but christians are under attack, everyone wants to accept every other religion except christianity, why is that?? i only hope that me and evryone else will make it to heaven

I completely agree with you!!!!! I am so glad someone finally said what you did. Jesus wouldn't approve of us talking that way to each other. We are all his children. When someone says something negative about chrisitianity, or just asks a question about it..they are reaching out, and we should respond with love. NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY!!!! That is what Jesus did, and what he wants us to do. I am glad you brought this up. And you are right we absolutely should NOT judge others. We shouldn't attack God's other children. He loves us all.
