Fill your sink with warm water, and lower your breasts into the water, and lean over the sink. It will help release your milk also.

I'm not sure if you're breastfeeding or not.
If you are bottle feeding, you need to wear a tight, supportive bra (like a sports/exercise bra) and avoid any stimulation to the breast area. This would include not allowing shower water to hit them, not washing or drying them. You're at risk for your milk coming in for 2 to 3 weeks. If you notice them becoming firm and uncomfortable, wrap some ice packs in a towel and place them under your arms and in the cleavage area several times a day for 15 to 20 minutes.
If you're breastfeeding, make sure the baby has a proper latch (mouth wide open, lips flared). And try using a pure lanolin cream such as Lancinoh after feedings. Also, remember, do not use soap on the breasts while you're nursing. The soap can cause drying and that can lead to cracking and bleeding.

This answer depends on whether you are choosing to breastfeed or bottle feed. If you are not going to breastfeed, you do not want to do anything to cause your milk supply to build and increase your discomfort!!!Avoid all nipple or breast stimulation, and do not let the shower spray hit them directly. This could stimulate more milk production. Wearing a tight sports bra with cool compresses inside can help. If you are breastfeeding, you can put hot washclothes on them to help with pain, and afterwards, express some milk until you are comfortable. Feeding your baby more frequently while they are awake will keep them from becoming overly full, as well.

Cabbage leaves can help with engorgement.
Bags of frozen peas make GREAT ice packs for the breast.
Lansinoh or another similar lanolin cream is good for if your nipples are dry, cracked, sore or bleeding.
