I've seen girls at some point try to find a new boyfriend though yahoo answers and I've seen guys asking to meet girls through here. I mean, don't the girls realize that they could be opening themselves up to a potentially dangerous stalker or something? It's the girls like that that end up getting raped and end up blaming the website for what happened to them when it was their own fault by posting their information and agreeing to meet a stranger over the internet. And the guys, do they seriously think they're going their girlfriend of the week through here? Why are some people so pathetic and desperate?

That's not what I mean. I mean that if they're going to blame a website for something that happened to them...it's not the website's fault that the girls were stupid/naive enough to look for a boyfriend online and post their information and then fall into the trap of a predator. I guess then some of the blame could be put on the parents too, for not monitoring what their children do online.

I understand what you're saying, do you seriously think that little girls that get online and are convinced to meet up with rapists are at fault? You think it's the girls fault for being a victim?
To your update: Once again I get what you're saying. People should be very careful with the personal information that they put out. Especially younger people. Unfortunately, many kids don't know any better. As far as blaming the websites, I totally agree with you. That's total bullshit. And while I know there are a few out there trying to blame websites for all of this, I'd classify that under 'media' and the media needs someone to blame. Someone/Something. **** em'.

I blame society, Why? well is simple, people have this idea in their heads that if they are alone they are nobody, and it sad. In reality this girls don't think that something bad is going to happend to them if they meet someone, particularly online... It is sad and pathethic, but like I say I blame society.

girls take that chance every time they go some where. to store, ro the movies, or anywhere. it is hard to meet people these days
