It`s not a true APBT when dogs are bred for color and that is the only reason other than making a buck off of gullible and ignorant people. It`s the latest thing and people think they are getting a superior dog . It`s in the same category as "huge heads", " massive chest" and weighs 90lbs, nothing could be futher than what an APBT should be. Not one top dogman ever bred for color because it was and is of no importance whatsoever to this breed.

And don't let yourself pay some outrageous price for a "rare blue" blue pit bull that everybody and their brother is breeding. A pit is a pit. Temperament is more important than looks.

Blue pits are prone to having allergies and horrible skin problems, make certain that you want to take a chance on having this because we see it 99% of the time with them.

the best thing to do is go to your local animal sheleter, don't go looking for a specific breed of dog. JUST GO LOOK AT THE DOGS. i'm not saying that you shouldn't get a pit bull but that is something you really need to think about. pit bulls can be wonderful dogs, but if trained improper they can be really dangerous too. take your time. DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE.
