Talk to your dr about new meds out there- they are always coming up with new stuff- you may have built up a tolerance to what you are taking. So go see your doc and hopefully you'll feel better soon!!

Find something in your life to deticate your self to and stick to it. I would how ever go back to the dr and talk with them maybe they can put you on something a little milder but it would help take the edge off. My happiness is in my family and I don't mean mom and dad and such my hubby and kids keep me so busy I don't have time to think about much else. Get a journal and start writing down your thoughts and feelings. Get outside more when it's not like 110. Just have fun in life and live it the best you can you will have good and bad days , you might look into a group therapy type thing where you could have a buddy to talk to in the bad times.

There are some wise answers here.
Yes, go to your doctor and get a prescription. However, if the doctor believes you should come off the meds, then, yes, ask for a milder dose.
Yes, talk to God. The absolute best years of my life have been as a result of my relationship with God. But if that's not your thing, then, yes, find a group to latch on to and maybe that will lead you to a confidant/friend.
Listen to these folks. They all have great ideas! :)

God... Honestly. Sounds crazy right? Its not though, I felt the same way and the only true happiness you will find is through god. Being generous (to charities etc) always feels good too, or helping somebody.. I promise you that If you build a relationship with god you will always feel fulfilled... Your cup will run over... Need to talk, IM me. Tarynpaige77

The key to happiness isn't your problem....you need to go back to your doctor because your anti-depressant isn't working.
