its two, over is 30 cents per bottle, but if your under 21 (me) they take it away. i got sooooo lucky i look 25 and they said it was cool to pass throw even though i had 15 bottles. thanks gang

The US customs limits the amount to one liter of beverage(wine,liquor or beer) in your carry on.An additional 2-3 bottles can be carried in your suitcase.Each state has their own regulations,but all must abide by US customs.

I believe you can bring back 4 - 750 ml bottles duty free. If you bring back more, duty is 10% of the value ot the wine.
