does this concept help you sleep at night? I really wonder. Do you think the guy you cut off on the highway (Christian identifiable by bumper stickers, Jesus fish, etc) is going to be O.K. with this behavior because you are saved by Christ? I don't think Salvation should be used as a blanket excuse after such a manner. It's like saying "the only way to be forgiven of sin is to commit it.", which was the ideal behind a certain sect of Christians in Russia. Why do you allow yourself to behave poorly based on this non-Christ like statement? Shouldn't you be asking others for forgiveness as well?

the Christian fish was actually a secret symbol a few thousand years ago. When Christianity was not the right thing to do, and people were persecuted for it. when you met someone on the street and did not know, you would draw one curved line of the fish. if the person was christian they knew, and would finish it with another curved line making the fish.

now to answer your question. I think that yes there are many (but not all) Christians that are using and abusing what they call salvation and thinking they can do something over and over again, but it is OK, because they are repenting. this is pretty much using and abusing God himself he doesn't like it, just like we don't. there are some good Christians out there though, I know a few.
blessed be.

Christian's have never claimed to be perfect, there is no human that is,and if Christians act badly they are not doing it because they think they can, most do it because they forgot that they are christian, and it's easy to do since we do still live in a sinful body and we will continue to sin til this body dies,we as Christan's have a way of being forgiven and can go on knowing we are still OK in the eyes of God, where people who have not been saved ,all that sin is still on you and will be til you give it to God, by being saved

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but the that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Romans 5:12-13

The imputation of sin occurred when the sin of Adam was charged to the account of all man. The imputation of sin is not arbitrarily charging people with sins for which they did not commit but reckoning to them the guilt they deserve. Imputation of sin is charged to all because we all are connected to Adam's race. God not only imputes the sin but the righteousness of Christ. Imputed righteouness is the only remedy for imputed sin.

We were born into sin, so we are born sinners. Can't win for loosing right? lol. I mean think about it....we never have to teach a child to hit, lie, take toys or disobey, right? However, there is a cure for this---Christ. So, we are forgiven because we are sinners. We are not born saved. Salvation is a choice.

Not all who claim to be saved are.Not all who go to church are saved. Many go for the wrong reasons.Salvation comes from the heart. No one `s perfect, but we should strive everyday to do the best we can.Christians are suppose to be a light. Some lights aren`t very bright. But there are some that light up the sky.

Well like the sticker says. But you could take consolation in this thought.

You shall reap what you sow. If that person with the sticker cut you off you can bet that their impatience will leave them pretty unhappy until they deal with it.

Maybe he was driving his mothers car. I know we as Christians mess up and need to ask for forgiveness. We need to get serious about our walk with the Lord and our testament.
