After surgury in which an organ is removed, what happens to the faulty organ? Do they put them in the garbage? Make dog/cat food out of them? Serve them up as soup in the hospital kitchen?

a lot of them are kept to be studied by doctors to help find causes of the illness/disease etc. and if not kept they along with other human body parts are placed into a hospital incinerator and burned completely up. most hospitals have these incinerators. the ones that don't bag the organs up in bio-hazard red bags and send them to nearby hospitals that have them or nearby places that have incinerators to burn them completely up.

They dispose of them using a device called an "incinerator." You ever see those big smoke stacks next to a hospital? Rest assured there's some organs getting BBQed in there.

They get looked at by pathology to make sure that there isn't anything wrong with the faulty organ. Then they are destroyed.. usually.. unless they are preserved due to an anomaly.

The organ or the part thereof removed is sent for biopsy and whatever is left over is sterilized and/or incinerated.

They run all sorts of tests on it and dispose of it in the proper method such as a hazardous materials container.

They are sent to the pathology lab, throughly investigated for signs of illness, and then incinerated.
