Ive got a crush on this girl ive known for five years i asked a friend of mine to ask her for me and to give her a poem i wrote for her. we past notes to eachother a couples times but they just leave me clueless. after that we just stop talking about it. i still have feelings for her and i cant wait for the first day of school so i can see her again. my bestfriend says i should just go up to her and talk to her about how i feel instead of eveything else. should I?

I know exactly how you feel dude. I had the same thing last school year. I liked a girl and asked her out. Well, it turns out she was dating someone. At least the way she turned me down was nice. She sounded like: "Aw! If I wasn't dating him I would go out with you" that's how she sounded. Still looking for a girlfriend!!!

Do it. Talk to her. What do you have to lose? If you don't talk to her and strike up a conversation, your odds of ever wooing her is absolutely nil. Women aren't going to come to you and talk to you. You gotta initiate.
