One strang thing with me was I never could make myself want to exercise and the more I exercised the hunger I got. The way that I finally lost pound was purely through diet. I exercised too but only when I felt fat or felt like using my muscles. For the diet I went on the strictest of diets. I found that if it is a slight diet your more apt to quit as you do not recognize any noticeable change fast enough. So what I did was start to only buy healthy food, no breads(pasta, rice, etc.) or anything else which turns into glucose to fast when you digest it. So basically I tried to achieve a no carb and low fat diet. The truth is though that we can get addicted to high glycemic index foods. So it might take a while but soon vegtables will begin to taste better the longer you stay on the diet. If you in a doubt about what to eat, Asian food with the exception of rice and pastas/noodles are almost always a good choice.

Your WHY has to be big. I started out going 1 time a week and now I am going 3 days a week. My motivation was the feling I had and the look and I made it a priority. Start small and work your way up. I started lifting the 25lb wieght doing 25 lifts and now I am doing the 45lb weights doing 50 of those. It takes me 30 minutes cuz you have to excersise the upper part of your body and the lower part. Which I do the leg press.
If you got nothing else to do in the morning just go for 30 minutes. After a week you will be looking forward to go there.

Well, I just do it. I just do situps and a few leg workouts every day. I do it while I watch tv..that way the time will go by. Just think to yourself the next time you sit down to watch your favorite tv show to do some sit ups. Like if you watch tv for an hour, do situps the whole hour (is reps of course!) You just have to do it..like you have to brush your teeth, shower, etc..You also have to cut down on eating. Im not saying to become anorexic or anything like that..please dont..but if you know you eat a few too many cookies every day, just cut those things out of your diet..and dont buy them anymore..you will be happy you did later on!

Wake up. Look in the mirror and say to yourself "Today is going to be a good day". Then start out be jogging around the house (outside), and work up gradually (or sit-ups or whatever). You will find after time you feel better and will go longer. The longer you go, the better you feel over time.

I find it easier if I exercise with a friend. We are actually getting very competitive about it. We took our measurements and weight and compare every week.
You can also splurge on an outfit you really want in a smaller size and work into fitting in it.

Try taking someone to the gym with you who is very close to you and who will not laugh at you. Bring someone who needs excersise just as much as you do and you all can motivate each other.

Think about your arteries getting clogged up and that they have to open up your chest to unclog them and that maybe you have clogged veins in your brain or your extremities. Sounds strong, but in the long run this might happen if you don't exercise.

do what I do, cut out a picture of one of those skinny b-itches, from self magazine wearing a bikini or just the body you strive for, and paste it right next to the fridge and next to your excercise equipment... it'll make you think twice about eating that hoagie
