You get her to notice you by walking up to her and talking to her as if you did that sort of thing all the time. Try to talk to her alone, not in front of her friends or your friends. Ask for her number, and then split. A few days later, call her and ask her out. No more than 5 minutes on the phone, ever! Good luck!

girls don't mind guys who are slightly shy. Lightly take her by the hand and take a step towards the dance floor. See if she follows. Look her in the eyes when you ask her to dance. Smile.

Don't dance with girls. Some men don't dance and by what I have seen in my life that is a good thing. Just talk! Open your mouth and talk to girls they don't bite. They are as nervous as you.

okay, i got it. go up to her and say, "do you wanna dance"?
if she says yes, then good job!
if she says no then say, "i don't know if you heard me but i said you look fat in those pants."
