I find it interesting to note just how much energy is devoted to telling others that they are going to hell, why do you think that is? If you read Christ's teachings he tells you rather blatantly that it isn't your job to do this, so why do you? What happened to humility, and piety, and well, the entirety of Matthew 7? I am really curious, could someone tell me how Christ's message said, "go forth and tell all they are doomed to hell." I don't remember reading that, and I've read it twice.

Jesus left every believer a command to tell the whole world the GOOD
NEWS that the way has been brought to mankind how to have ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Gods Only Begotten Son.How to be saved. It is a privilege to tell people about Jesus.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
* The Good News* Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
My Lord has told you the Good News through me will you Believe
and receive Jesus as Lord?

Hurrah! Your my hero! Finally someone else who does not believe in conversion! I was raised catholic and we were basically told if you dont convert every sinner you meet, YOU will go to hell! Its your duty as a christian to 'show them the way' Id much rather believe that all Gods are one God, One Goddess, there is only one creator, and NEVER belittle the path to which another may find the light!

Yeah! I totally agree! Why do people say go to hell. Maybe they'll be the ones going to hell for saying that. Or maybe it's because they're pissed of at the person for doing something wrong.Good question, good question. It makes u think a little.

Because with all the rules they impose on their lives, they feel like they are already in hell, and want everyone else to feel the same..

Basic human nature--it is easier to see the faults and shortcomings of others than your own.

I agree. Any God that would need humans to threaten people to get them to worship him would not be much of a God now would he.
